Kitsap Public Health District Shellfish Monitoring Program

Anyone planning to harvest or consume local, recreational-harvested shellfish must first:

1. Check the safety status of shellfish harvesting.

2. Check the shellfish harvest seasons and licensing requirements.

3. Silverdale waterfront is closed year round to shell fish harvesting.

Improvements Project

This project will provide upgrades to sewer and stormwater infrastructure, resurfacing and sidewalk construction on Bay Shore Drive. The project area extends from Washington Avenue to Bucklin Hill Road. This is a joint project with Roads and Stormwater Divisions. Kitsap County Public Works is making infrastructure improvements along Bay Shore Dr NW and Washington Ave NW.
